Thanks to you, I just ordered a deep fryer. The doughnuts look great! I tried making some years ago but was frustrated with the fumes and grease. Hopefully this new deep fryer will steamline the process.

I use a cast iron pan to make doughnuts. Perhaps it's my being traditionally sentimental that I haven't upgraded to a deep fryer yet. Maybe when I need to make doughnuts more frequently, I'd really would suggest for a good deep fryer to make things a lot more convenient.
